Lee Holdings Group is the structure under which Justine S. Lee builds and operates independent businesses in northeast Tennessee. Lee is a tradesman who taught himself to build software — in that order, and he’d tell you the order matters. He started with a brush, a toolbag, and a finish carpenter’s intolerance for a crooked line. Painting By Lee was built on that standard, one review at a time. Furniture Assembly by Lee grew beside it, with its own customers and its own craft. Nobody handed him either one.

Two companies meant twice the phones, twice the scheduling, twice the paperwork — so nights and early mornings went to a different kind of build. Carrier registrations. Payment rails. Ledgers and tax doctrine. Conversational AI. The result is Bailey — a production system that runs the office while he runs the jobs. Most founders buy their stack. Lee wrote his, and it has answered every call since.

What makes him unusual isn’t the ladder or the codebase — it’s that he holds both to the same standard. A cut line and a line of code get the same scrutiny. He decides fast, ships daily, and when something breaks he fixes it in the open and stands behind it: warranties on the work, version control on everything else.
